Should Women Lift?

Women Are No Different from Men When It Comes to Weightlifting

Many people assume or even sometimes believe weightlifting should be for men, not women. While that is false, it can affect a female's decision to work out. In other words, it was stated that men were created to have muscle mass/physical strength, while women should have a curve/slim body with no physical appearance of muscles. When I am on social media, I see many women starting or sharing their fitness journey. Not only does it inspire other women around the globe to gain confidence and take that same route; however, it shows that fitness or weightlifting is not a one-sex/gender activity or sport. I follow a lot of fitness enthusiasts and certified personal trainers, and without any hesitation, I can say some of these females are in better shape than me. It doesn't bother me or make me jealous; instead, it pumps me up to push myself harder.

A few days ago, as I was studying for my NASM CPT certification, I read that exercise helps reduce stress or anxiety. Not only does the research back up that statement; however, I know I feel less stressed whenever I'm training. In other words, the same psychological explanation applies to women. Furthermore, I heard about a famous bodybuilder, Dana Linn Bailey, on YouTube a couple of months ago. Not only did she win the 2013 Olympia; however, I believe her story should inspire women to get into fitness. I know it motivated me a lot more to take my training to the next level, but, as previously mentioned, it should do the same for you.

Food For Thought

Let me ask you a question, is it bad for you to have bigger and more muscular arms than men? Should it bother you that you can lift heavier than most of the guys in your gym? Do you think fitness is for men and not for women? I believe women, just like men, can do whatever they want if you ask me. In other words, I feel women can look just as jacked as men in the bodybuilder industry. I believe women can perform heavy barbell curls or have sculpted shoulders. If you think about it, women are entering bodybuilding competitions. Back in the day, it was rare to see that. However, women are standing up for what they believe in and are taking control of their lives.

When I began writing the female programs, I wanted females to look like Amazonian women or have a slim-beach body and tone/muscular physique. I didn't want to prioritize or make the male programs more effective than the women's. Instead, I wanted them to be equal. In other words, I created the female programs to be highly effective and challenging, but importantly, I wanted them to change a person's life and physique. The same teachings/training protocols I gave to the men in their programs, I shared them in the women's as well. If men can do it, so can women.

I don't use anyone else's programs, only mine. The teachings I explain are what some of the world's greatest bodybuilders used to gain mass. These are all natural gains, not quick fixes or cheat routes. I don't believe in that. I inspire people to work hard, believe in themselves, learn as they progress weekly, and gain self-confidence. If you're in that mindset of doubt, concern, or fear that people will look at you negatively differently, I want to encourage you today. It doesn't matter where you are or how you currently look; I believe you can make a change. Coming from a person who weighed 116lbs in 2018 and is now a different person with a whole distinct body, I can tell you it is possible.

If you have that inner feeling that you should make a change, go for it; what do you have to lose? Taking those baby steps always lead to positive outcomes. Not just physically but emotionally. If you're wondering which program is the right one for your goals, I can help you with that. The Bikini Model Program is for women who want to lose fat while gaining muscle. Not only is it a 12-week program with a total of three sessions per week; however, the provided diet protocols (cutting and recomposition) assist you in seeing weekly results. On the other hand, The Amazonian is a lean bulking program with a duration of 6-months. Six months of strength and muscle gain with a simple and effective diet protocol to help you with weekly gains while minimizing the fat gain.

Take the Stand and Chase After What You Deserve

All programs share the same protocols. It doesn't matter if you are a beginner, intermediate, or advanced; these programs will take your gains to a new level. I don't promote something I don't believe in; instead, I rely on something that works, and I am more than 110% certain that these programs WILL CHANGE YOUR LIFE!
