The Origin of MPM Fitness

I Had a Different Plan

If you've been following me for a while, whether here or on Instagram (matt_perezmarquez) (officialmpmfitness), you already know that I love fitness. However, before I began creating MPM Fitness, I had a goal to move back to my home (New York) and start a new chapter, but my plans changed. Being turned down for jobs or not passing multiple interviews made me wonder if anyone would hire me. Was it because I didn't have much job experience? Was it because I didn't live in that particular state, or was it because my degree wasn't enough? While these were some of the questions that came to mind, I decided to become a CEO. If no one would hire me, I hired and gave myself the opportunity and the position of becoming the creator and owner of one of the upcoming biggest fitness companies. While that hasn't happened yet, I know it will be.

I will never forget the day. It was May 13, 2022. I was at work, outside in the heat, charging people for parking, and one of the kindest guys I knew told me something I will never forget. While he spent thirty years of his life working for someone else, he didn't do the things he wanted to do. While telling me this, I saw how tired he was. In other words, I saw how working for someone can drain your life and take your passions away. I didn't want that, and neither did he. Before he left the parking lot, he told me not to make the same mistake he did. At that moment, I went back into my small wood shack and began putting the Alpha Program into a Word document. Granted, I had already written the program; however, it was on a piece of paper in my room. In other words, it was for me and no one else, but I realized something. After seeing how my body looked with the program I crafted for myself, I knew how effective it would be for others.

Building MPM Fitness

I got home that day, opened an account with Shopify, and began to build MPM Fitness. Not only was I searching for website designers; however, I was putting the Alpha Program together, as mentioned earlier. Nevertheless, before putting the Alpha Program together, I asked myself, "What do I want my programs to do?" "What will be their purpose?" For starters, I want my programs to help and sculpt men and women around the globe in reconstructing their bodies into jaw-dropping, head-shifting towards them, admirable physiques. I didn't want my clients to look like everyone else, not in the gym or in public; instead, I wanted them to be different. I wanted people to ask themselves, "What did they do to look like that?" or say, "That type of physique is hard to build and rare to come across."

I knew how to make those comments and questions come to pass; I had to combine specific training strategies with constructive exercises. In other words, I implemented Reverse Pyramid Training, Hypertrophy Training, German Volume Training, Rest-Pause Training, and UPSET/Reverse Drop Set Training; all I talk about in my male and female programs. However, while the routines and exercises would contribute to making a difference in someone's life, I had to help people create a daily and enjoyable diet that they can rely upon and stick to throughout their fitness journey and life. In other words, I wanted to make it a life solution/a way of living. The scientifically proven training strategies I teach in my programs would help men and women pack on muscle, increase their strength weekly, and generate fat loss while performing only eighteen exercises 3x per week.

Why did I do this? For starters, I know everyone has a busy schedule. In other words, people have jobs, school, a family, etc., and I didn't want them to sacrifice those responsibilities. However, I also wanted people to enjoy their lives; I didn't want them in the gym 24/7. I love the gym, don't get me wrong; however, life comes first.

How Can My Programs Help You?

I don't promote something I don't believe in, and if it isn't backed up by research or scientifically indicates that it is legit, it isn't going anywhere. In other words, if it doesn't physically benefit you, I won't have you perform it. If you're trusting me to help you, know I will give you the best of the best. My clients don't get sloppy seconds. I use my gift to help others take control of their physical health and not sabotage it. It doesn't matter where you are in life, physically or locationally; I've been using my system for the past couple of months, and I haven't looked back; instead, it made people look at me. The people I've helped transform their bodies can say the same (look at the reviews in the program comments). If you're looking for a program that fits your needs or a training blueprint that will have you looking you're very best, I guarantee my programs will have you looking like a million bucks.

Perhaps you're a college or grade/high school student looking to start a new semester differently; the lean bulking and cutting/recomposition programs will help you look great for graduation, prom, or annual school dance. Perhaps you're a parent and want to start living a healthy life while setting an example for your children; my programs will inspire you and your child to want to engage more in your health and body. Paying for a gym membership and a CPT can be highly costly (the research will show you that); however, getting into shape shouldn't be expensive. To be more specific, I charge people $60 per program. No tax, no monthly or annual payment is required. Once you buy your program, it is yours FOREVER! Yes, you read that correctly. Think how much you will save in a year.

Concluding Words

What you learn from my programs will help you live a better and healthier life. Not only am I living it; however, research will support it too. I wasn't afraid of starting MPM Fitness. I don't doubt what I bring to the table. Instead, I trusted my gut and will stand by it. I may not yet be a CPT, but that doesn't stop me from sharing what I know. If I self-coached myself, I know I can coach you.
